Default Clutch pedal got stuck :)

So I was testing some new tires I just put on so I was at a standstill and dumped the clutch at 4-5k rpms and the clutch pedal just stayed there without moving back up again as I was giving gas. Has this ever happened to anyone? What might have caused this?

*No one was harmed in any way, shape or form*

Either you have the tsb issue above or launched incorrectly (too much gas without enough clutch out) which made it stick. When I first began driving manuals and I didnt know how to properly launch, the clutch pedal would stick unless I kicked it out with my foot.

sounds like you have the Hr csc issue. When it gets hott it starts to stick and will come up rather slowly. Once you let it cool down for a while then it works fine. Have the dealer bleed the clutch line fist, if it happens again then you got a $180 part to replace and labor that is just right out stupid. $500plus easily.

If you slip the clutch too much then it will happen.

It happens mainly because of the stock clutch, It does not have enough spring load on the pressure plate to kick the slave back out at High rpms. The pressure plate tries to "reverse" and the pedal can get very light feeling and/or stick to the floor. The pressure plate in the HR is a POS to be nice about it
Even the 370 does it.

There will be an "Modified" slave cylinder available soon This CSC will be modified to accept all the DE clutch kits without causing the CSC to fail. More info to come.......
