Default Help with Crank Pulley needed

Hi guys, have a bit of a problem, got an engine dropped of, and trying to disassemble it, but I got stucked at the crank pulley, don't know how to get the nut off. The fly wheel is off already and so I have nothing to hold against when I'm trying to break the nut of. Any good ideas ?? Really would like to have it off tonite or tomorrow

Thanks micael

****! I had to use a air chisel to get it off lol. Takes a long time but I just started spinning it with that and it eventually came off. The nuts are like $3 anyway.

Use a crowbar to hold the pulley in place (Place it in the slots in the middle of the pulley) by a friend and then use a impact gun or breaker bar to loosen the center bolt.

Thanks guys, yeah I was thinking something like that, don't have the air setup yet so don't want to have to go and get an impact gun, but I guess I might have too, oh well need it sooner or later anyway

Chain wrench works best, just make sure you use a old accessory belt cut it so it wraps around the whole crank pulley that way you dont damage the pulley.

Here's a example of what you need.
