Default Clutch project problem with welded bolts

I just started my clutch job and came into a problem right off the bat, for some strange reason the bolts to the Y-pipe on the exhaust are welded on(first thought they were just really rotted but deff welded). any ideas how I should go about getting these off really didnt want to have to start drilling bolts out any other way? thanks in advance

Did you try checking if the other side was welded on also?

They probably just welded the nut on one side, that way you only have take a wrench to the bolt to get it out.

yeah the bolts are sunk in so there is nothing to really grab, its the nuts that have to be taken off, everybody else that did this said there's was not welded on and came right off super easy

hm. Yeah you might have to take a grinder or a sawzall to the nut to get it off.

Maybe the previous owner had to weld it or something to keep it from coming loose?
Is it the stock exhaust?
