Supertrapps???
I was just sittin' in the "office" flipping through a Summit Racing catalog and came across Supertrapp mufflers. Years ago I lived in the Porsche world for a while, and we used to run these with some success, both on the street and on tracks where there was a noise limit.
You can tune your noise level and powerband, or even go to open exhaust for the track, in just a couple of minutes. Cops give you a fixit ticket for noise? Pull out a plate or two for your retest.
Just asking if anybody's considered these. They've been around for a long time and are used in many legitimate competition venues. Sure would save a lot of weight on a Z and free up a lot of space back there for diffusers or a fuel cell or something...
Flame on?

There was a custom suppertrapp equipped Z at one of the track days I was at and is probably on this board.
I cant comment on anything except they looked pretty cool. I probably wouldn't have noticed them if wasnt for having them on my bike.
