1: did you tighten all bolts accordingly???
2: Has you ride ever been in any kind "anything" that could have led to frame shifting.

Been doing any excess "drifting" without proper re-enforcement???

and...."rumbed"??????

No haven't been doing any drifting. And I'm pretty positive I tightened the bolts correctly. Just in case are u for sure on how it's suppose to be tightened?

Its gonna be a tight fit with a 5/16 spacer and your stock strut bar. You are gonna have to adjust the bar with the spacers provided and then adjust it by tightening down (the nut on the the strut bar itself). You might have to go buy a bunch of washer and keep adjusting it up so it doesnt hit the upper plenum and doesnt hit the hood when you close it. You might need a friend to rev the engine as it will shift on its mounts and hit the bar. You need to be able to see that.

Your just gonna have to mess around with it. The rubs will become evident on the upper plenum and on your hood so you should be able to see it fairly easily. Its like trying to shove 8lbs of **** into a 3lb bag.

Or buy the Cusco strut bar and be done.

Did the ends of your strut bar rotate at all?

Ok but if the uper plenum is already hitting the hood, wouldn't the strut bar just make it worse? Or not...?

Sorry I may have worded that wrong.

You need to find the sweet spot so the STRUT bar doesnt hit the hood OR the upper plenum. Whats making the hood not sit flush is either the bar itself or the tower that holds the bar. Fitting the strut bar in between the hood and then plenum without rubbing is going to be tight... make sense? The Cusco bar is super thin so its easier to fit everything in.

Skunk and strut bar fit are a common problem. Leave the strut bar off.

Your telling me the upper plenum is hitting the OEM hood with a 5/16" spacer....

IIRC, Skunk2 doesnt make a 5/16" spacer, only a 5/8" spacer.

Is this case, you DEF have to have no strut bar on, broheem, and could have problems clearing your hood.

My advice, ditch the Skunk2 garbage and pick up a motordyne 5/16" iso-thermal.

The function of the front strut brace is a long standing debate. It does not hold the top of the strut.

either get the 5/16th from motordyne, or remove/get a new strut tower brace.
