Default diff problem?

my car got stuck on a curb the other day and my slip light was coming on. So i turned off vdc and one tire was still spinning while the other one didnt move and the tire never engaged.

is there a problem with my diff or do i need to change the fluid?

i have a vlsd and my car has 40k miles on it.

You can try changing the fluid to see if it helps or depending how spirited you drive your car the stock vlsd might be at the end of its life. Sounds like a good excuse to upgrade

Only did 1 drift event and like 4-5 autox.

Should not be dead yet.

you can do what even you want to the fluid, it doesn't effect the VLSD as its a sealed unit inside the diff housing. Even if you had a fresh VLSD with 0 miles it would not help. If you want a good diff, i highly suggest ordering an OS Giken, it will be perfect for drift and autocross.
