5k for an ls7 swap? you're dreaming.

maybe an ls1 swap. LS7 is way over that since it's beyond the power of an ls1.

Looks to be the going rate for a crate LS7 is around 14,000$. Then you need a transmission, all the mounts, wiring harnesses, ecu, CAN interface for the NISSAN ecu, driveshaft. It's all worth it though because that's a 505hp engine as it sits.

Take an ls1 and get it to 505 hp is going to cost a good amount of coin or FI.

And to the guy that thinks it's pointless because it will "just spin the tires": how do you think the 700+hp FI guys manage their cars? good tires, duh

Just because I don't like the yellow tint on the headlights. Yeah, that makes sense. Did I say anything bad about anything else? No.

it was the fact u didnt even acknowledge what this thread was really meant to show. with that amazing of a build i could care less if the headlights were tinted pink.

Someone hasn't seen it much in this forum then. Happens all the time. Like...

Love the water hose, the yellow stripe ones are always the best. And you got your windows tinted THERE?

Oh, my bad. Here let me add what you wanted to see....

OMG OMG OMG! LS7 OMG OMG OMG

The fact that I am a headlight guy probably has something to do with it and that's why I noticed it.

:ro flpuke2:

labor alone would probably approach 3X $5000, maybe more. then another 15 to 20k in parts. this is close to a 40k build if you ask me unless you can do all the installs, fabrication and tuning.

this aint no SR20 swap yo!
