Default Eliminating the EVAP canister

I have a sedan with a dual exhaust and the canister is in the trunk, I still have the spare. Since the hoses to it are a little longer than usual fuel vapor sometimes escapes by the 2 sensors on the canister and the vapor gets inside the cabin. Long story short that vapor is bad(that's why it's outside the car to begin with it.) I had an 04 sedan before this 05 and the air quality in the cabin was pristine with a charcoal filter(better quality air than country air.)

I've also had the canister removed but too much pressure escapes and the tank empties faster. I also noticed that if it's not hooked electrically at least, the car would crank longer, rarely not even start on the first try.

There is a way to eliminate the box and keep only the sensors hooked up without a CEL SES. Doing this through doesn't relieve the gas vapor in the gas tank to add liquid gas so filling up doesn't work well at all. The only way is to put in a pressure valve in the lines to relieve the pressure during fill up and then close.

So does anyone know of a pressure valve that can be implemented in this system. Pic courtesy of ttrank@g35driver. This is CEL and SES free but doesn't relieve pressure.

I ditched all of the sensors and vented the tank to atmosphere under the car. I deleted the resulting codes with Osiris. Tank fills up just fine too

Does the car start normally? I did that too for a while but the car cranks longer.

other than just weight saving ,
his exhaust was probably taking to much space , he had to relocate his canister somewhere , then other problem came out .*smell*


its going to be the same with my custum exhaust that my guy is going to do on my 370z

A few reasons:
1. It was in the way of my exhaust
2. I didn't want it recirculating back into my plenum
3. Cleans up the engine bay by being able to ditch the solenoid and the unnecessary lines.
4. Because I hate the environment

Do you smell it? Say when standing next to the vehicle while it's running, or at a light?

If there is a smell, I can't smell it over the 3" downpipes and 3" dual exhaust, haha. But seriously, I don't even notice any smells until I get into boost and the wastegate dumps open up.

When I come see you guys for the FD gears and LSD stuff we spoke about, I may also ask for this "mod" as well.
