Does VDC affect Clutch Engagement?
Hi All,
I'm new to the board and just purchased a 2003 6MT Track model. I've been reading the forums quite sometime and found it very useful to get more information.
I am also finding the Z to have a very high clutch engagement point which is really hard to get used to. I've read on other threads that people have claimed turning the VDC OFF affects the clutch engagement point? Is this proven to be true?
I am pretty noob at driving stick as well, so I'm trying to find ways to help me learn better and not because I want to burn rubber.
Occasionally, I will also find myself releasing the clutch too fast and reving a bit high, which leads to a horrid jerk or stall. If VDC is turned off, will I at least keep my rpms constant and take off properly instead of getting a fuel cut?
Thanks for any information.
(PS: I tried searching and couldn't find any threads relating to this. Sorry if it's been asked.)
Thanks!

I think this VDC clutch thing is in your head.
