Default 04' Z engine swap into 04' Murano

Hi,
I was wondering if a 2004 350z VQ35DE engine can be installed into a 2004 Murano...which also has a VQ35DE engine. The original engine blew a hole threw the bottom of the engine, from a pistion rod. I then bought a used engine $1800 and my mechanic's partner installed it, when he finished the work it ran fine. On my way to work it then died on me at a stoplight...right after i got off the freeway. had it towed back and he found out it was cylinder #3 that had a bad spark/compression...idk, he used the old engines spark plug wires and the engine ran fine since.

Until late JAN 2010 when it started misfiring, then smoking. The mechanic said two O2 sensors went out, replaced them...but still smoking...(running rich?)..he wanted to charge me near $2000 to break down the engine, inspect it and change the gasket....which were new...since the engine was just replaced like a few months ago..ugh..i declined(didn't havet the $$$$). A few weeks later, early FEB 2010, on my way home from work, i lost power(engine still running/revving) when i tried to apply the accelerater...nothing, coasted off the freeway, turned onto the street then the engine died.

its been sitting at my grandparents house, my mom does'nt want to spent money on that vehicle, so she got me a 2010 altima coupe 2.5s..blah..but im still making payments on that murano, and i cannot trade it in if its not running...and i owe $16,000. Sooooooooo my other mechanic has a 350z VQ35DE engine sitting in his garage, he said I could use it, but need to check to C if the attachement holes will work in the murano (engine mounts, manifolds....sensors..etc...) . If not...then he can get me a another used engine for around $1200.
...FYI, both pre-cats are gutted, and ive got a 2" staright pipe to flowmaster 80 series exhaust...lol.

I did get the codes...7 of them;
1) PO300
2) PO420
3) PO011
4) PO021
5) PO420
6) PO011
7) PO021
also;
M - misfire moniter
F - fuel sys moniter
CC - comperhensive component monter
C - catalyst moniter
EV - evaporative sys moniter
O - oxygen sensor moniter
OH - oxygen sensor moniter

Isn't the Murano VQ mounted transverse? If so, it won't work. A maxima or altima VQ may have a better chance since the FWD cars have different mounts than RWD cars.
