Default which is better?????

I Just turboed my Z and need to change the thermostat because it gets hot.
Has anyone tried the Mishimoto?

im debating on which to choose Nismo or mishimoto. They both open at 62 degrees

Somehow, I don't think a new thermostat is the cure for a hot-running turboed car.

But if you insist, since they both open at the same temp, and all other things being equal, buy the cheapest, easiest to obtain one.

i use oem only.

and like stated above, theromstat won't keep your car cooler. It will just take it longer to get hot. once the thermostat is all the way open, it does NOTHING. So once you reach 62* (celcius i would assume) it's doing nothing, so if your car is running hot, it will still run hot. Look into COOLING mods, not thermostats.

Thermostat will get the car cooler if you are just cruising under no load, but i'll take a shot in the dark and say that's not when your car is overheating. It's probably overheating when you give it hell and are in boost in which no thermostat will fix that.

Yea I have no idea why it was overheating but I bought the nismo and the needle doesn't even go half way. It's like just under. But maybe they didn't fill it right and I had an sit bubble. Idk but I'm glad I fixed it. Thanks guys
