I'm not sure if it belongs here but anyway.

I'm looking at making my own custom setup for the power steering cooler, but i haven't got my car near me so i need a bit of help.

What are the size of the ports in the cooler and resevoir? Basically i need to know if i have to order -6 or -8 braided lines and fittings.

The OEM cooler doesn't have AN style fittings. Hoses slide over nipples and are held with clamps.

Yes, but i will still need AN fittings to attach the hoses to a Setrab oil cooler. Still, the braided hose i'm looking at is sold as -6, -8,-10, etc. So i need to know which size to get. I think it's -8, but i'm not sure.

 

The Stillen kit uses AN6 which looks about right for the small tube used for the OEM cooler.

 

You need -6 lines and fittings for the PS cooler.
