Just curious if anyone has any issues using Cosworth pistons recently? I was d!cking around on YouTube and found a couple videos regarding an oiling problem and unbalance piston set.

I'm using Cosworth pistons (among other Cosworth devices). An offset gudgeon will produce a piston that isn't weighted symetrically. However as the force on the piston isn't symetrical, or even symetrical through it's travel, then I can't see this being an issue.
Regarding the oil squirter cutouts. The cutout is only required for clearance on one bank. From memory it was the LH bank. However both banks of pistons have been cut to ease manufacture and to ensure they are weighted the same from piston to piston.
The only problem I've got with my pistons is the rapid wear of the green anti friction coating. However I don't know if this coating actually does anything anyway.
