Default n00b ecm question

im looking to order an ecm for my 03 350z touring mt. I am on Ebay and see many different posts for both a chassis ecm and engine ecm. Is there a difference between the two? My ecm reads mec31-511 A1 2Y13.

thanks in advance

Do not know what you are looking at. No photos. No link. May as well be Greek.

i took apart the dash and snapped the best pic i could of my ecm. the ECM read PC in large letters and then the numbers in my first post

as for Ebay, when I search 03 350z ecm it seems like there are sellers with chassis ecm's and engine ecm's. I was under the impression there is only one ecm on the 350z.

I'm having issues with performance at high RPM's and after testing the throttle chamber and MAF i took it to the dealer who thinks it's an ECM because my air fuel alpha is reading lean yet my oxygen sensors are reading rich which the Nissan mechanic said is most likely due to a bad ECM.

here are two links below:

thanks again

One of them is most likely the BCM, which controls stuff like the door locks and lights.

Correct. One is the Engine Control Module. Passenger side under dash

One is the Body Control Module. Located behind the Driver kick plate.

Believe so. Nissan shows the 22611 ECM for all VQ35DE motors.
