I believe its 300$ if your not getting your tranny replaced, and 40$ if you are. I just came back from getting both done at Performance Nissan, saw Jeff's car going through some engine work and Jason's recovering from the crash.

After getting my tranny replaced as well as nismo **** and flywheel, I came out of the dealership and floored the sucker to see how it drives. Initially I was upset because the shifting was even harder to get into and the 3rd gear would pop right back into neutral which was annoying as hell. However, after driving some more and breaking it in more it became a lil smoother and with the flywheelyou feel a more aggressive throttle response
and faster revs.
Got a great deal on the flywheel from performance, its a worthwhile mod if you get your tranny replaced, if not...I think there are better mods out there if you tack on the $300+ install fee onto the flywheel. For $40 its a no brainer.

Hey Jasonm,

This tilton flywheel sounds promising. Would the tilton flywheel
with the street clutch still be ok for daily driving? (I don't care about noise or vibration, and long as i don't feel like i'm still vibrating when I get out of the car )

Last question, how much is the tilton flywheel, and street clutch?

I was under the impression that the stock flywheel weighs 29 pounds and the NISMO weighs 21 pounds.

29-21 seems like a waste, if your not dropping to the 14lb save the cash

Well I agree but 29-21 is sure better than the reality of 28-23.

I had really good luck with my "clutch masters" (stage III) in my SS camaro, and they now make one for the 350z/g35! I was thinking about taking my 'G' to the dealer to look at why my car has so much clutch chatter, specifically first gear. I have a feeling they are going to say it's "normal". Typically, you get more clutch chatter with aftermarket clutches/flyhwheels, but the Clutch Master is amazing in my camaro! Gripped a lot better than stock............and no clutch chatter!!! Hopefully the one for the Z/G is just as good becuase when this clutch goes out, I'm getting a clutch master clutch.

I have the stage III, I'm hoping I'll have the same luck with the stage III for my g35. But I don't see a flywheel listed yet by clutch master. I'll probably try the nismo flywheel with the setup. By the way, how much do you charge for install(performance nissan)?
Just wandering if there is any news on this installation?

Sorry, I think you misunderstood me. I said that when it's time for a new cluth, I'm going to try Clutch Masters, becuase I had such good luck when them on my Camaro. BUT, I'm not ready for a clutch on my G35 yet..only 6K miles, and no other mods to justify a clutch change yet.
