I went and had the codes read at AutoZone and these 3 codes showed up. Ive tried the seafoam the first time that the check engine light came on because only one code showed up and the guy recommended cleaning the fuel system to see if it helps. Well, it hasn't helped and now I have gotten these 3 codes. I was thinking of doing the seafoam again but this time try to do 1/3 through the vacuum hose and the rest in the tank rather then the whole bottle into the gas tank like the first time. Does anybody think that it would make a difference? And should I try this first before anything else? I'm hoping that it's just the fuel system that has crud built up and that this can just clean it but I'm afraid that it's most likely more than that. If anybody has any suggestions or any experience with this then any recommendations would be considered and I would really appreciate any help. Thanks

 

Cleaned the MAF and reset the CEL but it came back within the next few minutes of driving. Anybody have any suggestions? Maybe replace the spark plugs or coil packs will help? Looking for some good ideas.

 

WHat are the codes for?

 

Check for intake tract air leaks and bad injector. Wouldn't hurt to change that plug either (Cyl #1).

P0171 Fuel Injection Lean code B1
P0507 ISC (Idle Speed Control) - Erratic Idle will trigger this one
P0301 Misfire in cylinder 1
