Has anyone ever seen this?

Im interested to see if it could help solve the cruise control problem when rear end gears are changed. Or when a ecu swap is done and their is only 1 speed signal (from the gauge cluster to the ecu).

If This box, or the company can make a box , that will Intercept the speed signal from the gauge cluster, duplicate that speed and send it as a output over can to the ecu as the 2ed speed signal, so they would always match.

This could fix cruise control problems that are due to the 2ed speed signal not being correct or not being there at all.



This is the ONLY thing i can find that has anything to do with speed signal over CAN, i emailed dakotadigital they said they have nothing for can systems.

no our cars go faster than what that says anyways. i don't think its going to help with cruise control either.

 

I know, i never said i wanted to use it to remove the speed limiter.


This is the only module ive seen that can alter your speed signal over can lines. If they could alter this module or make a new one that copied the speed signal from the gauge cluster, and sent it to the ecu as the signal from the abs/tcm, then it would fix cruise control issues on swapped gear's and ecu swaps.

I posted to see if anyone had ever heard of or seen this, or knew of another like device that can alter speed signals over can lines. Not getting much feedback tho.
