Default Is there a specific code for Rev Up engines?

Been shopping for a long block to start building an engine on the side, but since the original vq and the revup are both known as the vq35de, is there any way to distinguish the 2 engines apart? thanks

look at the head/cam sprocket covers.

Its ok to use a revup for a non rev build you can just buy block off plates for the missing cam pos sensors.

well i have a revup now, so thought it would be easier to stick with the revup, is there any difference in the short block or is it all in the heads?
