My car passes smog just fine at the sniffer. I have all the parts above plus Nismo Cams. RWHP went from 232 to 269 and fun went through the roof. You are welcome to come by and drive my car. This will give you an idea of how it will act, sound and drive. You can read all about the build up here: https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....threadid=42395 although the thread is getting a bit long. Give me a call at work and we'll talk. My store isn't that far from you at all. Jeff

Did it pass a static idle /2500 test or actual loaded mode 15/25mph test? Also no aftermarket cat I know of is CARB approved for sale in california. So in other words, if the guy smogging your car passes you on emissions portion, you may still fail visual inspection.. The no CARB sticker made me fail many a car, not worth losing an EA licence over..

What's the deal with this "visual inspection" stuff?

Why should Cali care what it looks like as long as it passes emissions?

unlike new york i dont think they actually look to see if you have any aftermarket parts. And the current test standard is a low speed/ highspeed run 15/25 i believe

Also what would be an estimated cost out the door for those parts there Permormance? Since thier all Nismo Warrenty issues are minimal. How are you guys on warrenty with mods?

Empire Nissian over here says that any Nismo mod would be fine as long as its installed at the dealer. Is that your policy too? If so whats the cost OTD on the CAI, Headers, CAT, and Exaust?
