Default another "ticking" thread...with vid

ive done my research and come to the conclusion that the z has some loud injectors. just wana make sure that the injectors is my problem and something else. the noise is coming from the back of the motor area (plenum area) hard to pinpoint...the ticking accelerates with rev'n and doesnt get progressively louder.

heres a vid. sorry for the quality i took it on my evo...

That sounds so sketchy.
Hope you figure it out.

Mods are in video info. I have motor mounts and long tube headers, so I'd expect it to be a little louder. Yours sounds like mine and I don't have problems with my injectors. Do you have any codes? Performance issues?

yours sounds like mine. except a lil louder. or maybe you had better speakers idk hard to tell from a vid...but yes i am throwing a code, but its just for a faulty sensor...cam position sensor bank 1...but the sound was there prior. and no performance issue.

I think you're alright. It's normal for the VQs and I do believe it is the injectors. The injectors on my Caliber SRT4 are loud as hell, too.
