The sway bars, springs, shocks, wheels & tire upgrades made a dramatic handling improvement to my zee. With all the power build up, superior handling is key; the priority. And, then the brakes.

So far I have only seen one post with a clutch upgrade, OS Giken clutch kit; and an installed Nismo package.

I have been following the discussion about the Tilton Flywheel & clutch package; but I am still undecided on the direction to take, with a clutch upgrade?

Thanks

If you do any drag racing you rally dont want a "lightweight " flywheel as the sudden tourqe of launching the car can shatter the flyweel sending shards of metal through the floorplate towards your lower extremities.Thats why if you notice the metal sheild the Smithstown tube chassis car has to protect the driver from such in case the Flyweel shatters..I believe its calleda "scatter shield"and its NHRA rules if you run below a certain time...

No..We are running the bottom ends as far as we can while we build up the 2 new ones then when we do the swap we have 2 more engines to build up for backup or sale..We basically want to resolve the engine mangement issue befor we go big HP..

Thanks for the tip!

It would be super if someone came up with a complete programmable ECU replacement.

Are you working with Narvin?

Narvi told me that APEXI has a ecu replacement that is fully programable in the works for the 350Z..Meaning plug and play replacement for your stock ecu..We will see..But I think the reflash to get in the ball park with the injectors and timing maps then a piggyback to fine tune..I still am working on the piggyback unit I posted a while back but the guy is very pricey with his dyno time!!
