hey mon i have 2006 w 12k mi. when i push clutch pedal about half way down i get a clicking noise sounds like coming from pedal area its just 1 click and it just started

 

i have the same.... problem?? symptom? not sure. i dont think it affects anything. but i am curious to know why it does it. in for the responses!

 

Your probably hitting the stud(sort of like a stopper) at the far end of the floorboard. That makes it click when you depress the clutch. Anyway, the sound you get at half way is normal. I have it too.

 

Two people having the same problem doesn't make it normal.

This clutch pedal clicking problem sounds like the one I had before in my 06Z.

I know, it's very annoying every time you depress the clutch about halfway through it clicks.

It happend at least 2 or 3 years ago when my Z was still under warranty.
Brought it in to the dealer and they replaced the clutch pedal assembly under warranty and the clicking problem went away and has not come back.

I believe it's something mechanical in the clutch assembly that made the noise, I don't really know exactly what it was. For sure my new replaced clutch pedal assembly did not have this problem.

 

i have a 06 and im also getting a clicking noise when im letting go of the clutch, but i also hear it at very very low speeds too without even touching the clutch. It got worse so im taking it to the dealership this week.
