i searched the threads, but couldnt find anything that related to what is happening with my car, or maybe i just dont know the name for what is happening, so if anyone can help, that would be great.
my car started this sporatic episode last fall. when i start out driving and am gentle on the gas, nothing happens. but if i punch the gas, the car seems to buck and the power cuts out between 30-40 mph. almost like i hit the rev limiter but i dont. there are no engine lights on or other warnings. it does not happen all the time and it happens usually between 2nd and 3rd gear. i have an AEM CAI installed but no other mods. i have checked all connections with the air intake and they are tight. its a 2004 with 19,000 miles. any ideas?
