Changing from Auto to Manual transmission, worth it?

save urself the hassle and sell the auto at a loss and buy a mt. the loss u take in comparison to sourcing out the parts and labor should be about the same anyway

stick to auto, z manual transmission is junk! had mine replaced @25k and now even with a new one it's still rough to shift.
yesterday drove my friends civic si and shifting was like slicing through warm butter, so as much as i love the Z 6 speed i wish i had auto on mine or a different car

You haven't put too much money into your Z yet. Sell it, then buy a manual. Not worth the labor and parts you will have to buy to do it. Unless you can do all of the work yourself and have a donor car with all the parts right next to you, it will be pretty difficult. I had a donor car that literally sat right next to mine when I did the swap. The auto cars do not have stamps or anything for the clutch pedal. The tranny tunnels have to be changed too. Brake pedals, and a lot more. Unless it is just something you want to do and don't mind spending a lot of money, I would say don't do it.
