Default Clutch fade?

After about 40 minutes of spirited driving in Tenessee, my clutch started to fade.
At the pedal. I went from the 8-9", to, 3", then 2", then, I could not shift any more.
leave it in neutral, cost down, let it cool down a minute and she is back.
full throw.
Any body got a good guess?

With all those historic places in Charleston, it seems like you could have found a place there for some "spirited" driving.

The clutch issues you speak of have been covered many times. The solutions usually involve replacing the fluid, bleeding the system until you're sick of the car, rebuilding the master and slave cylinder, and installing a stainless steel flex hose. I've probably left out a few, but a search will probably fill in the gaps.

Since the car is OK now, I'd trade it for a new 370Z with that wonderful 7AT.
