DreamWorkes hmm?
is it normal for a manufacturer to design and release a blower and never have it actually drive down the street before releasing it to the public? Just wondering because dreamworkes mentioned yesterday over the phone they only have a motor out of the car and are testing it that way, and they never have had it in a car yet?

But I agree . . . I would not release the product until thorough, in car, testing.

Nothing to get alarmed about yet. All this means is that they are further away from having something done than we might earlier have thought.
When I was researching a supercharger, the DreamWorkes appealed to me A WHOLE LOT--because of the design and because of the powertrain warranty.
However, the two things that concerned me were (1) the price seemed to me as though it would be significantly higher than the other available superchargers and (2) it seemed to be still very much in the R&D phase and a long way from actual release.
I may be proven wrong on BOTH points, but I went with the Vortech and so far so good. Very good. If nothing else I was a good guinea pig for the rest of the forum to use as a point of comparison.
