Cams and lope
I'm too lazy to search for the answer, but what exactly is lope w.r.t. cams?
And are the Nismo cams really worth the price including install? Seems pretty steep when you look at the $/hp ratio.

Lope is the sound it makes. Think of a galloping horse sound. As far as the price per HP, that is all up to how deep your pockets are and how important HP is to you. You ask sort of a personal question that you can answer yourself if you ponder it.
Lope is the chug-chug-chug sound coming from the motor. A wild cam would have a bigger lope. Think of the sound a diesel truck makes...or that of a heavily modified domestic.
Hotter cams are generally described as more lopey. Is this lopey sound an undesirable effect of having hotter cams? Or is the lopeyness synonymous with the sound generated by a modified exhaust? You either like it or not.
LSA Lobe Seperation Angle.
More Lope less chance of passing smog but more power. Isn't that always the Catch 22 in this business?
I like lope. Haven't heard it on a Z yet though and the Nismo's don't lope.
