OP, a picture is worth a thousand words... and in this case will get you a correct answer for sure as the DE, Rev-Up and HR all look very distinct.

The rest of you continue to play nice please...

All-

Thanks for all the feedback. I looked at the plaque located in the engine bay and it says VQ35DE on it. I would assume that if an engine swap is made under warranty, the dealer (or whomever) would need to change out the plaque. It appears as though it has been replaced because you can see marks where they might have pried up the old one (pic below).

I meant a picture of the front of the engine. The intakes and cam covers will tell the story.

My last post wasn't in reply to your post. I know what the HR engine looks like. Thanks, I believe now that the engine is still a DE.
