What's up everyone? I just had my build completed this past week and figured I'd put some pictures up. This all started out with my clutch pedal sticking to the floor, cause a bearing broke. I was quoted a decent amount for labor, so instead wasting money on that, I figured I'd waste money on a 5.7L build! It was gonna happen eventually anyways.

A few months later after taking time to order parts and find good deals, I have an N/A Z with 406 whp and 375 wtq.

I went with the Sikky engine mount kit and their 1 7/8 Longtube headers. Also Got a set of polished Heads and massive Cam. I probably could have squeezed out another 20 hp with an aftermarket Intake manifold, but I already spent wat too much money. And didn't think it would be that much difference since my car weighs less than 3000 pounds now.

I'll post up specs on everything added to the car probably tomorrow, so stayed tuned on that. Here are some pics, I'll add profile shots of the car when I get my suspension figured out. This is a drag car.

Battery relocation for weight distribution.

Why does your drag car have some of the heaviest wheels known to man? Nice set up all around might I add.

Wasn't your car a red, AT, single turbo Z or am I thinking of someone else?

Where did you drag race and what was your "before" time?

Not really but they're definitely not for drag though. Most multi piece wheels are heavier then a mono wheel. I can pick up my TE's with one hand while my LM's and VSXX's require a little more effort.

Nice setup! What track let's you in with a FPR above the bellhousing and a battery not in a sealed box?

Hmm, I never got questioned on my FPR it's in the same spot. And the tracks i go to are pretty damn picky. I've seen some people mount them off to the side which I would consider far more dangerous being closer to the manifolds should a leak develop.

lol I gotta look good on the streets man, I'll go to the track with slicks and much lighter rims. Otherwise, it'd be pointless

Yes, that red car was totalled by an old lady last year, so I got this one for like 11k. I'm prolly going to an 1/8 mile track to practice this Saturday, I'll let you know which one when I find out.

Don't worry, Those will come soon too. I just got it back from the shop last week, and I'm using it as a daily right now, since my girl wanted her car back. I'm still learning how to drive with this massive cam. And I only had it stock for like a couple months. This is my first MT car lol. I'm not gonna be acting a fool just yet to need the bigger brakes, j/k
