Default Twin Disc Clutch Help please!

I just had an ATS Twin Disc clutch installed in my 04 Touring. I am in China on my way home and my mechanic emailed me to inform me the work was complete and of 2 issues. When he installed my braided flex line it leaked and the clutch does not fully disengage when pushing the pedal down.

I am not 100% sure what he said his method was(the spelling in this part of the email sucked) but it seemed like he said he tried engaging the clutch with a lever and it worked. His suggestion was to buy a larger aftermarket Slave.

My thought were since he had to reinstall the OEM line that could be part of the problem because of the higher clamping force of the pressure plate. Also adjusting the pedal seems to me like it should help. Obviously I need to get a new braided SS flex line ASAP but does anybody have any other thoughts? Is the Nismo Slave a good idea? Any other slave options for a DE?

Also another suggestion was possible week master cylinder. Is there any way of checking this?

I dont know how good your mechanic is, but when I switched to A ss clutch line it was a ***** to bleed it properly and get it working, maybe he didnt bleed it enough

yeah I have been thinking that too. Or maybe he bled it when he put in the SS line but when he took it out cause he it was leaking he forgot. After my autobody experience I am thinking the worst of everybody right now.

I have even emailed the manufacturer to see what they think/recommend.

I am also trying to find somebody local with a SS line in stock that way I can rule out the oem line and a bad bleed at once.

I heard of issues with certain multidisk clutches that require a longer sleeve? without it there is the issue you have...Carbonetics maybe..

The sleeve and bearing have been upgraded to what ATS/Carbonetics suggest using. The issue seems like the slave doesn't have enough force to move the discs to disengage them fully. We are trying to replace the master and slave cylinders and rebleeding next
