Default NA mods and maintaining proper A/F

I want to continue with NA mods, but I am not sure which direction to take at this point. I am about to the end of the rope engine wise unless I get into the internals and bore out the cylinders or go with a stroker kit, but there are still a few of mods left that I am not so sure about that are available and not $8-12k.

1. 350EVO Throttle body
2. Cams
3. TS ECU

My main concern with the remaining mods is maintaining the proper A/F ratio and timing. I am not sure how much of an issue the TB or cams would cause, but lets say that they did cause my car to run lean, what next. Do you think that going with some Nismo or 264 deg cams would require larger injectors or just the proper ECU flash? What about some of the other products such as the J&S Safeguard for a NA car? Any benefits in the way of timing and fuel delivery? I am quite happy with my cars performance currently but I definately would like to keep going with some more mods and FI really isn't for me. Thank you.

I highly doubt you'll need a timing retard unit for your N/A application.

I would get the TB and cams and have Technosquare do another reflasha fter you submit a dyno graph to them.

I'm running ~12.2 on the top end N/A with no mods at all to the ECU. I look mainly at the no cats dealio for causing this, as this is when it happened. But the Crawford could also have effected it some, but not nearly as much as the straight pipes formely know as cats. Yes I'm running rich, and the fact that the comp reads out an amazing 4.0 mpg (I think the comp is jacked, but I have not reset the ECU yet, so it's probably more like 12 mpg) cause I go WOT everywhere also leads me to believe that I am running rich. Now when the temperature drops down to 20 degrees, and leans out the mixture, damn does the car have MAD power! :-D

If I was running cams I would need the timing advanced. I am just wondering if the there are better options then the TS ECU for this and for maintaining proper A/F. Since I live so far away I really do not want to have the issues that other have had with shipping the ECU back and forth. I do not have an alternative car to use as well which makes it difficult. I am not running lean, I am just questioning the TB and cams wondering if they would make my car go lean and if so what the best way to overcome that would be. If I could drive the car to TS and have them tune the car and tweak the ECU then great but that may not happen. I suppose I could drive out there with an entire week planned for a cam install with Performance Nissan and then hit TS while I am out there for the ECU flash.

Apexi AFC-II for fine tuning of the fuel curve works great.

Just out of curiosity... what are you running with those mods in the quarter?

Unfortunately the local track closed for the winter so I am hungry to see just what I will run. Winter can be a blast but it slows some things down.
