Knock Sensor
John from J&S described the signal to me. Doesn't look like you could use it with the S-AFC
The output from a knock sensor is an audio signal, like from a microphone. If you connect one to a set of amplified headphones, you will hear the engine running, without the exhaust noise.
The sensor on the 350z has a low output level. You might get a volt or so peak to peak with heavy knock. The frequency varies from 5kHz to 10kHz, depending on the cylinder bore diameter.
