Default Emissions for LS swaps, need info please

For those who already have the LS swaps, do you have any problems passing OBD2 emission scan in your state?
I been reading around and also emailed some companies, it sounds like they can make the gm ecu read and pass all the emission codes but my question is what about the vin?

I know when they scan obd2 they can read the vin in the ecu, will it fail emissions if the vin in the ecu does not match vin on the car? Any way of re-flashing the gm ecu and entering in the 350z vin?

Just trying to get as much info as i can before buying all the parts for the swap.

You'll be fine. At least in PA. The vin written in the ecu doesn't play a role in passing or failing emissions.

Why would a NC inspections mechanic look under the hood if it passes ob2? Few friends have swapped Hondas and np

I just wanted to make that the vin in the new gm ecu would not play a roll in failing the emissions.

In CT it does. As long as the ECU/engine is the same year or newer and it meets all the standards for whatever it came out of it will be fine. I went through and passed and then got a call about a month later saying my car threw up a red flag. The inspector came out to my house looked the car over and then tested it again in my driveway. He went back to his office and looked up the test codes for an 05 GTO compared them and passed me. You have to have a cat on there.
