Default HKS dli 2 questions

I have and hks dli2 with the 350z harness, I hate how all the wiring just sits on top of everything else. Does anybody have a wiring diagram for the universal one so I can reroute all may coil/ignition wiring and clean it up.

why even use it? none of the high hp guys are using it nor any of the high powered shop cars none of them have needed it. in fact i have been told by a couple shops(who would honestly make more money selling it to me) that it could potentially damage the stock coils. this isnt a distributor style ignition that needs cdi at high rpms or needs cdi for a rev limiter, boost spark retard ect.

your pretty much trying to fix something that isnt broke with the hks unit

I had removed mine because i thought it was causing codes and rough spots through the range of RPMs... once i had it off, it ran better. I put on some new stuff, LW pulleys, pop charger, exhaust and some suspension goodies... went to start it and it idled SUPER rough and rich. It turned itself off (protection) and now doesn't start.

DON"T WASTE THE MONEY, the stock ignition is more than enough. If you really want to up the ignition, okada plasma coils are an option, though i've not used them and they are costly.

^ I've never heard of the DLI causing that much trouble when installed correctly. Either way, you're right in it pretty much being an engine ornament.
