Default mishimoto radiator problems

Just installed mishimoto radiator last week. And the temp of my car is still high. I was wondering if I needed to get the whole kit(holes and fans) or what. 04 350z base

How are you using the car? Is it just being driven regularly on the street? If that's the case and your temps are high with the stock radiator, you have a problem.

You should not need silicon hoses, full aluminum radiator or aftermarket fans for a stock vehicle being driven reasonably on the streets. The factory fan is without a doubt better than Mishimoto slim fans. The only purpose for silicone hoses is to not burst under extreme heat. Rubber expands and eventually pops under extreme conditions, most guys running silicone hoses are doing it for the bling.

Is your coolant system properly bleed of air? When did this problem start? Notice any coolant in your oil?

^^^hes right. if your DD your car and nothing else you shouldnt have to replace the oem fans unless theyre bad. You probably still have air in the system

something to look for w/mishimoto radiators is the caps leak after awhile. Ive had two of them already, but their warranty is good about replacing it

More than likely, you still have air in the cooling system.

Thanks everyone. The problem has been fixed. I kept bleeding the heater valve, and little by little the temp of the car came down, and I had to remove a new thermo that I installed and I'm using the stock one. And its doing fine.
