Lol. Consistent 9's is my first goal, but my second goal is to lift the wheels. Even if just a bit. I highly doubt I will get the second goal on IRS though. Maybe if I fit a set of AFCO shocks I might....

Finally saved enough money doing side jobs to order skinnies for the front! Should be on order Monday or Tuesday! I am also strongly considering doing front suspension now given some of the connections I have for AFCO shock components. The shocks will have to be retro-fitted to the Z but it should be quite easy to do and would allow me to make adjustments to how the car transfers weight.

Finished making my front bumper quick release today. It turned out quite nice in all honestly using two locking pull latches and two Dzus fasteners. It is suprisingly sturdy. Pictures to come.

Front skinny slicks have came in but I am still waiting on the wheels. Lexan windows are almost done as well. I weighed all the stuff I removed from my car today and it came in at 44lbs. This isn't counting the glass windows, the skinnies or the new exhaust system which is easily another 40lbs on top of that.

I used these because I bought them like three years ago and never installed them:

Those plus a Dzus quarter turn fastener on each side of bumper just outside the frame rail.

I don't think you'll have a problem lifting the wheels. oldman350z lifted his with only 4xx whp.

I would consider it. When would you need them by? The frame is welded in FYI.

I am a bit skeptical because my 60' is 1.510 seconds ans OldMan350's is 1.704. Even with my car launching that much quicker I wasn't even close to lifting because I don't use a transbrake in order to save my axles.

With suspension I might be able to but it will be raw power and not shock that does it.

The last parts on my list finally came in and I can finish putting everything back together! Also picked up the nitrous! Hoping to have startup with the new mods in three weeks.

I will post pictures of progress in the next week or so.

I wouldn't go road racing with them but they do work.
