Default Sequential Shifters (Under $10K)

I'd seen pics of these in Race cars before but never knew what they were until today.

There isn't one for the Z yet but check it out...

I thought sequential shifters are not good for the syncros. Other than that, looks cool.

I can't tell you how many videos I've seen of people racing and losing because they can't find a gear. Seems this would make it a lot harder to do that.

in addition to the fact that smgs dont miss gears, they also shift faster than any human ever could. the only obvious drawback is the price. sadly the audi tt was offered with a smg option, but alas nissan saw fit to give us a slush box instead of a sequential tranny. hea nissan i really appreciate the added drive train loss; thanks for watering down all my mods. i wouldve easily paid more for this option had it been available.

But you bought one anyone, didn't you. Then you got another one! I don't think you are THAT passionate about your comments.

WRC cars use sequential shifters. While they are nice I'm not sure if it's useful for daily use. Would probably be good if you rally or auto-x your Z. You should try transplanting the murano cvt transmission into the z, now that would be cool.

When I was buying Z I'd pay whatever it takes for SMG. I'd expect more cars with SMG on the middle market than we have now... I don't see what all those engeneers working on right now? C'mon, it's 2003
