Default CD009 gear question

I have a CD009 transmission and assuming the gear ratios are;
3.784
2.324
1.624
1.271
1.000
0.794
Final:3.538

The problem I am having is flying through the gears WAY too fast and am looking to see if there is any reasonable options to get longer gears whether it be a different transmission, different gears or final drive. I just replaced the diff to a quiafe which is about to get worked on due to a small leak so since it will be on the lift it would be a good time to figure out the gear issues. I would love to get close to the length of z06 gears which i believe are;
2.664
1.783
1.302
1.000
0.741
0.502
Final:3.420

My z is fully built by forged, is turbo'd and has the power to use longer gears but I am a noob with transmissions. What are the possibilities? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Welcome and congratulations. You are too fast and furious for me.

The only way to elongate your gears is to use a 3.3 FD from a auto on your diff or put some serious money in your transmission and get some custom gearing done.

^^ what he said, but you can also look into the OS Giken gear set for ratios and Quaffe also has a trans for the Z that has multiple gear sets available.

Thank you for the feed back, the link you posted says its max capability is 375 bhp I would need something that can handle 700bhp. I'm guessing the 3.3 FD from auto wouldn't change the length a whole lot leaving custom gearing as the most realistic option? Any rough estimates on that kind of work? ($_$)

I would imagine it would cost somewhere in the 3k+ range for something like that.

If you need a 3.3 FD ring and pinion LMK I have a set that's been sitting in my garage.

I would try the 3.3 FD since it would be the cheapest option and you won't lose out on much if it's still not your liking
