A/F Ratio Module?
Alright guys so I need some help.
So last month my Z broke down. Took it to a shop and the guy told me it was my A/F Ratio Module went to ****. Got it fixed. Car worked great except for when I would sit at a red light, the RPM's would drop below 500, but it would just bounce back up to normal. Whatever I thought nothing of it.
Today just got in it to drive it. Car turned over ( barely ), tried to give it some gas, and there was no response in the RPM's. Car died. Tried turning it on again and same thing happened again. Tried one more time, got it started, left it running for a few minutes( service engine soon light was on ) and it was running fine!
So then I turned it off and waited a little bit. Tried turning it on again and now it wont even turn over. The car is dead at this point. Do you think it is the A/F Ratio again or could it be something else?

"A/F Ratio Module"??
I might recommend taking your car to a different shop, if that's what this one said the problem was. How exactly did he "fix" your "A/F Ratio Module"?
Honestly, though, the symptoms sound similar to what you get with an intake manifold leak. Have you recently installed any mods, messed with anything in that area, or disconnected any of the hoses, etc? The intake system is where I'd point the finger, but I'm just hypothesizing at this point.

He told me its the component (im just using that word not saying its his exact words ) that controls the A/F ratio went bad. looks like the one in the bottom right of this picture http://cdn1.autopartsnetwork.com/ima...0/234-5061.jpg
No I have not done any moding to the car recently, have not touched any hoses, nothing.

So he just changed your 02 sensor. Since you got a Check engine light, Get a scanner somehow, 30 dollars at autozone and comes in handy every now and then. Read the codes and post it up here. You're car not starting has no relation to your 02 sensor unless somehow THAT created a short somewhere. Charge your battery, post up the code and we might be able to help
