Default nismo gt lsd help

Ok i have looked around the forums and haven't found anything that resembles my question. so currently i have a 04 base model z with a nismo gt lsd installed and just purchased a 08 nismo pumpkin with just the gears no lsd, and wanted to know if its possible to swap my nismo lsd in to the 08 model since it was previously a vlsd model reason i'm changing pumpkins is for gears mine have over 90k and have bad bearings and this one only has 30k on it. If anybody knows can you please chime in. thanks.

I'm pretty sure you can. If I remember correctly you just have to use the half shafts that are currently on your Nismo diff.

+1 Pumpkins on all 350z's are the same. However the side flanges are different for each LSD, so you'll have to transfer them over.

I have a 2008 Z and I just put in a Nismo GT PRO LSD. Have fun with it!

Yeah, mine was noisy at first. Motul 90pa and a bottle of Equa-Torque fixed that. Now I hardly hear it except for when I first back out of the garage in the morning. And even that is hardly noticible.

yeah its coming from the slow turning really. Its not to bad just maybe want a smoother diff with less whine, popcorn noise. I'm just debating though.

How bad is it? Like I said, I hardly notice mine now. Before I switched to my current mix everyone thought my car was about to blow up. lol

Mine isn't too loud but the popping at slow speeds just makes it a b!tch for me to drive, I also have a HDSS ACT clutch and a streetlite flywheel. All LSD's at some capacity will do the same thing.

Well i'm running the motul 90a diff oil and love it it was way better than the shockproof oil that redline makes i think. But sometimes when turning the slow ill hear popping sometimes but most of the time the tires with chirp when turning. I just did a oil diff change a couple of weeks ago. Could my lockup be higher than 60% I never checked what setting it was in?
