Well here is an update of sorts, I am no longer with ET tuning, please dont ask for details, I will just say it wasnt pleasant. I am however going to ask a moderator to transfer this to somebody else at ET so it can continue. There has been alot of interest from you guys on here in reguards to this car, so I think its only right that it continues. If by chance they cant switch the user, then I have suggested that a new thread be started, so please keep your eyes open for a possible new post.

That's unfortunate, Dave. I hope you are able to come out of whatever happened, and I wish good luck to you!

Hello all,
My name is Jon, I am the manager at ET Tuning. I will be working on keeping this thread updated as much as possible. Dave was real good at this sort of thing, I'll do my best. Dave is a long time friend, and I wish him all the best in the future. He is landing on his feet in Florida working with drift cars. The Z car is in a body shop getting the roof and windshield fitted. When it gets back, it will be thrash time, it has a test date scheduled for the end of September, so if the posts are a little spread out, please forgive me. I'll shoot plenty of pictures and get them posted asap. Can't wait to post videos of it on the dyno! And to answer a couple of questions, yes the motor and trans is available, and yes we do Up Rev tuning at the shop. I will also be updating our facebook page, it is badly neglected. Thanks to you all for the great feedback and responses.

Default The Z lives!

Hello all, sorry about the delay, we have been busy finishing the car. Tuning the Accel DFI system produced 700 wheel hp with the low boost pulley, 16lbs. We took it to VIR for some shake down laps, it did well. It lapped the 3.7 mile course at just over 2 min, with straight speeds over 160. overall we are happy with the way it worked, need to do some heat insulating on the exhaust and trim the tune up some. here are some pics.

Good to have you aboard Jon! I was looking forward to seeing this car next weekend for my dyno use. Hopefully my friend gets his car working so I can get into the shop soon.

Needs a wider and chassis mounted wing, not that APR thing.

Bringing this thread back to life, hopefully I'm not just missing a new thread that was made, but this car is amazing. Oddly enough I saw this car in person before I ever knew it was on here! Right now it is kind of in pieces at their shop and is waiting on parts to come in as far as I know. The thing is definitely a spectacle though, can't wait to see this thing on the track in person.
