Default ngk spark plugs pre gapped?

i picked up NGK Iridium IX spark plugs at autozone. LFR5AIX-11 4469.
Some stores were saying that they need to be gapped, and some dont..
On the forum, people didn't mention about gapping these spark plugs.

The gap for our car should be .44". But when i checked the gap for NGK, they were .46".

DO they need to be re gapped?

stock engine. so the stock being .44" and NGK .46", i'll still be fine?
i had kragen guy check the gap over the phone, and he said NGK is .39"
autozone guys confirmed that they are .46" (NGK). (i checked it with them).

Per NGK website the gap is .44 so I would do that. You should always check the manufacturer specs directly before resorting to a forum or Autozone hacks. Kragen telling you .39 is just dumb......

yah the difference is so minimal you will be fine. that slightly larger wont affect you too much if at all. it becomes really important when you start pushing things. obviously something WAY out of whack like .025 or .060 would be excessive but for stock power levels a .002 difference isnt going to matter. put it this way i was running stock .044 on 7 psi boost and had 0 issues from spark blow out, so the tiny extra bit from .046 wont hurt you unless something else in your ignition system is hurt, but then stock gap wont work right either.

you will honestly have more problems trying to correct it then just running them, since its very easy to damage the tips when trying to set the gap perfect.

.039 would work as well but your not going to see any benefit from it, the smaller gaps are to help with spark blow out with boost, nitrous, higher compression, or more revs.

thanks for the help guys. i finished replacing the plugs.
found out that the driver's side plugs have little oil on them. However, either # 5 or #6 plug (driver's side near windshield) has drips of oil..
im looking into L fab rebuilt valve cover but its hard to find review about them on valve cover

You run the possibility of scraping the plating off of the electrode when attempting to gap iridium/platinum plugs
