That's what I did originally. No operational issues, but the rubber ones will rot over time. quicker if there are a lot of drastic weather changes. Fine if you keep an eye on it.

I had previously ordered the wrong diameter silicon hose for something else which happened to be long enough to go over the wire loom location. either way is good.

i was hoping the ones that i ordered would be rated for coolant use and hopefully hold up a bit better. i have used the smaller help section caps before and they fall apart fairly quickly on coolant use, they work fine for capping off vacuum lines.

It may seem like a simple delete, but i've searched the fourm for a "Coolant line delete" and nothing came up. Could someone post a DIY how to do this?

unhook coolant hose from the front of engine and cap the ends?

who said it was 16mm...i measured and it was 3/4 inch....
