Default Engine Swap

I have a 03 VQ35DE and I was reading a thread about a swap with the new VQ37VHR, but I had a couple of questions regarding the motor, I know you have to put new internals for the VQ35 motors when going FI, but do you have to put stronger internals for the new VQ37VHR? I know its probably recommended but I just want to know if its really needed.

read the sticky's thats what they are there for. Read more threads and decide what your goals are before spending any money, its much easier to build what you want when you have a direction to head rather then just bumbling around...

and i'll just drop this here for a laugh or two....

Please do some research and read the stickies both here and in the F/I section. A general answer to your question is, YES, it can be done. Almost anything is possible with the right amount to time, money and skill. Is this swap practical, NO.

You do not need to build a DE to go F/I, you just need to keep the TQ within a certain range. Even doing that, you are driving a ticking bomb.

Best of luck with whatever you decide to do.

Thank you , thats all I needed to know, I just wanted to know if stock internals were strong enough to hold a certain ammount of boost, after that simple answer I can do all the research I need to do

Thanks for that simple answer that no one else could say
