so i have a 2006 350z that needs a new clutch and im wondering how much it should cost. the dealership just quoted me $4300 but that sounds a little high considering i can get a nismo clutch for like $350. any thoughts or advice?

You're being quoted more than four times what it should cost you at a reliable non-stealership rate.
