Like the title says, does the 2003 Z motor have a timing belt or a chain?

Is it true that Nissan provides a lifetime warranty on the timing chain for the VQ engine?

The timing chain will usually last the life of the car IF the engine is properly maintained.

I believe nissan advertises beyond 100k miles, not a warranty though but an estimation
