Need advice for my new Clutch + Flywheel Combo
My current setup is slipping, with a clutch burning smell...so it has to go soon. I'm in the market for a whole new setup. My old setup was a JWT clutch and flywheel.
I am looking for a clutch and flywheel combo that's cheap as can be (even lightly used), works for a stock 2004 350z, and doesn't chatter like this JWT flywheel does.
What brands should I be looking at? Where can I find a good deal?
EDIT: http://www.clutchstar.com/product/gr...04-nissan-350z
http://www.f1clutch.com/product.html...-g35-350z-2004
These looks like good deals, but I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to clutch parts. Hopefully someone can give me insight so I don't waste my money. Any help is appreciated.

Found this on the forums...I'd obviously need to get a new Flywheel, but would this work for the clutch replacement?

Find a used oem flywheel since the lightened JWT flywheel is what causes noise(vibration) then get a low grade ACT clutch for cheap. That would be the cheapest option. I think most users on here would give you an oem flyhwheel if you pay shipping. OEM quality ACT clutches are around 200ish or something.
also, you can re-use your JWT pressure plate. The ultimate cheapest route would be buy a new friction plate from JWT and then get a free OEM flywheel.

The previous owner installed it, and I bought the car with 35,500 miles on it. So I'm not sure at what point he put the kit in. I myself put 20,000 miles on the car, most of those being road trips with cruise control on. I don't drive like an old person, but I don't track the car, either. So right now, 55,500 miles on the car.
