Default Rear End popping after 3.91 gears and vlsd swap

Hey guys, I have a 2008 base that I got 3.91 gears and a vlsd swapped into. A couple days after getting my car back I got on it and the vlsd engaged for the first time. Immediately after once I had slowed down, the rear end started making a mild popping noise that sometimes gets louder and sometimes goes away. I hear it at slow speeds only and its just as bad when I turn as when I'm going straight. I plan on taking it back to the shop that did it, but would like some possible opinions on what this could be so I don't get screwed over. Thanks

Vlsd. I got a brand new one given to me for free. I originally planned on getting a quaife. But after I got the new vlsd for free, I picked up some stub axles for a vlsd for $85 bucks. And got everything installed. Still a huge improvement over the open diff. And after making this post the sound stopped..? I still think I should get it looked at but if everything is in working condition and not making a weird noise I cant really complain to the shop lol

Search for rear axel click. Unless it sounded 100% like it was the diff. Could just be coincidence that it happened after the dif/gear swap.. My 08 had driver's side axel click and i pulled the axel, and cleaned/lubed it up... Byebye click.

If it comes back(or even if it doesnt) check the 6 or 8 bolts holding the stub axels to the actual axels, some or all maybe loose. That's all I can think of

I saw a thread talking about that and thought it sounded like it could be the cause. Thanks for the tip I will definitely check into it
