FIT Motorsports 350z LS1 build thread
so ive sold my 06 supercharged z and was wondering what i should do with my 03
i've been driftin a lot more and decided to go with a v8 and thought i'd start a thread that may help others with their build so here it goes
remove engine

removed

i bought a 2004 corvette ls1 with 8k miles but needed a t56 tranny so i bought another complete motor and trans

i decided to go with the fueled racing kit

moroso oil pan

the new motor mounts

my tranny came out of a 00 trans am so needed to swap the shifter assembly with a 04-06 GTO shifter

installed the clutch lines yesterday

today we tried puttin the engine in but ran into a few problems

that is all for now
11/25 updates
just got from another great drift day at the balcony and decided to post some updates
we were having a problem with one of the rack and pinion hard lines that was hitting the oil pan and so I had to get a brake line from NAPA and re route the line closer to the rack

decided to remove the whole subframe and just slide everything in installed

Putting the headers on after the engine is in the car? Why? seems much harder that way to me. I don't know why more people don't just pull the sway bar and cross member, bolt everything together and then slide it in the front and hoist it up... done
To each his own though.
