Rogue Enginering short throw shifter review
Ok now I'm definetly excited. I just went today to Rogue's location in Hohokus and picked my shifter up from Ben who had been expecting me. He is a really cool guy and very helpful. He was talking to me about the install and how I would go about getting the bolt with ease as Im not at all mechanically inclined. Im planning on putting it in this weekend and will post a review then.

its only like $10. bj (350evo.com) told me that i could use my stock cup, but there is always a chance you could break it removing it! its not going to come off very easy TRUST ME! it just made the job a little easier! i didnt want to break mine, then wait for a new one!
Your lucky to have gotten the new shifter. Santa brought me one and it's got some play (twists). I think the rubber insert is not fully attached.
Anybody else have the old style shifter without the bolt? Is there any play?

bj said there were 3 reported shifters with this problem in the old style shifter. but they have been fixed. give him a call, im sure he will fix it for you! he has A++ customer service!! how hard did you tighten your shifter **** down? the seperation problem would most likely be to to OVER torquing it! but regardless, bj will make things right! those 3 shifters were the reason the RE shifter was redesigned.

The thread pitch on the Rogue shifter is the same as the OEM one, so any **** will fit (the OEM one included). The "cup" is a plastic cup that the fulcrum bearing sits in. The plastic is a bit stiff and brittle, so when you remove the it the cup may break.
